Tyrannis

Progress Report 4: Change

Getting back to updating the website is a bit of a double edged sword for me. On one hand, it’s always important to keep people updated on all the stuff I’m doing. On the other hand, every minute I spend writing Diaries is a minute that I can’t spend coding or working on trailers.

Oh yeah, that’s what I’ve been working on, by the way. Yesterday, I premiered the reveal trailer for Tyrannis, which you can see here.

Observe.

Move.

Fight.

Win.

That’s how you sum up Tyrannis in four words.

After this, it looks like the next stop is a playable demo, then setting up the Kickstarter.

As for the game itself, most of the work on it is the little things, like streamlining the combat system and fixing up the user interface so players know where they’re reinforcing and conquering.

Progress Report 1: One Step Closer

So I’ll make this quick, because I’ve got church in an hour and an exam to study for.

Tyrannis is a turn-based guerilla warfare strategy game that we’re developing.

Imagine a combination of Risk, Battleship, and everyone fighting each other on my Facebook feed.

Remind me to get off of Facebook later.

Development:

Development started in July 2017. Programming began November 2017.

Release Date:

When it’s ready. After I finish my physics degree.

Anyways, I’ve got to get to church.
